Israeli Ambassador to Ghana, Her Excellency Sharon Bar-li
Come December 5, Ghana would host the Israeli Film Festival at the Silverbird cinema at the Accra Mall.

According to organisers of the event, a 2-day film festival would present viewers a unique window into the diverse and complicated weave of Israeli culture as well as offer something for everyone to learn through films.

“After a successful debut of the 1st Israeli Film Festival last year, it returns for the second time with new and fascinating films, all opened to the general public and screened free of charge. Among the films to be screened are ‘A Matter of Size’, ‘Walk on Water’ and ‘Bonjour Monsieur Shlomi’ among others,” one of the organisers stated.

The festival will be opened with a festival screening of award winning film ‘The Dove Flyer’.

It will also give Ghanaians the opportunity to meet and interact with Israelis while watching the films.

Last year, the event brought together patrons around the country who were treated to some spectacular Israeli films.
